Q What do I need to do if I require an extension on the rental?


A. If you need an extension on the rental you will be required to notify us 24 hours in advance.



Q. What do I do in case of an accident?
A. The simplistic, and complete answer is:
1. Stop
2. Attend to any injuries
3. Warn oncoming traffic (or remover hazard)
4. Call the police
5. Don't admit liabilty and dont leave accident scene until the police arrive
6. Exchange vehicle insurance and driver details
7. Get names and contacts of witnesses
8. Call our emergency numbers (0729407410/0733378108) and notify us of the accident


Q. What do I do in case of a vehicle breakdown?

A.
In the unlikely event that the car breaks down, please contact us on the emergency numbers above for us to arrange to exchange the vehicle or send our road rescue services.

 


Q. What does the insurance cover entail whilst the rental is in effect?
A. The vehicle is insured comprehensively, and this covers the vehicle fully in the event of damage or theft, including 4 passengers (in the event of injury), and damage or injury to any third parties. Please note thet the hirer will be liable for insurance excess payment.



Q. What do I do if I need someone else to drive the vehicle other than myself?
A.
If you need someone else to drive the vehicle other than yourself, you will be require to bring the alternate person’s driving license to our offices whose details we will record and thereafter give him / her authorisation to drive the vehicle.

 


Q. Are there any restrictions on where can I drive the rental vehicle?

A. This depends on the class of vehicle you have rented. Saloon vehicles can only be driven on all-weather roads whilst 4WD vehicles can be driven on both all-weather and seasonal roads. The vehicle cannot be taken out of Kenya, to North Eastern Province (we will need advance notice for this due to security reasons), or to Lake Turkana and its environs.

 


Q Can I pay my rental bill by credit card?
A.
Yes you can pay your rental bill by credit card. We accept most of the major credit cards including Visa, American Express, Mastercard and other international credit cards.
